Terms & Conditions

The Rest Collective

By booking or attending any class, workshop, training, event, or session with The Rest Collective, you agree to the terms below. These policies are here to help the space run smoothly, sustainably, and with care for everyone involved.

Bookings, Cancellations & Refunds

Please note that all bookings with The Rest Collective are non-refundable.

Where enough notice is given (6 hours before the start of a session), credits may be returned to your booking account to use at a later date. We do not offer refunds unless a session or event is cancelled by us.

Group Sessions

Cancellations made more than 6 hours before the session start time will have credits returned to your account.

Cancellations made within 6 hours of the session start time will be treated as a late cancellation and credits will not be returned. We understand that sometimes rest looks like staying home.

If you need to cancel within the 6-hour window due to illness, emergencies, or unexpected life circumstances, please email us. While late cancellations are not usually eligible for returned credits, exceptions may be made where appropriate.

We simply ask for honesty, kindness, and communication so we can keep the space sustainable for both our community and facilitators.

Failure to attend a booked session without notice is considered a no-show and your session credit will be forfeited.

This policy applies to all members, class packs, and intro offers.

If you need support around your booking, please contact us at behere@therestcollective.co.uk and we’ll always do our best to help where we can.

Private Sessions, workshops and events

Private sessions, workshops and events may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice. Rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of your session may result in the session being forfeited.

This policy applies to all workshops, events and individual bookings. There is a lot of preparation and time that goes into these session so ask for open communication so we can keep the space sustainable for both our community and facilitators.

Trainings, Courses & Immersions

Teacher trainings, immersions, and longer-form courses require significant preparation and limited spaces are available. Because of this, these bookings are non-refundable.

If you can no longer attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis but cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations By Us

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or reschedule a class, workshop, training, or event.

If this happens, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and offered either:

  • a transfer to another session or date

  • a credit

  • or a full refund where applicable

The Rest Collective cannot reimburse additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.

Arriving at the Studio

We kindly ask that you arrive on time or a bit earlier for all sessions. Late arrivals can disrupt the experience for others.

Doors will be locked once the session begins and late entry will not be possible.

If you are new to the studio, we recommend arriving at least 10–15 minutes early to settle in, get comfortable, and arrive slowly.

If you’re running late, please email us where possible and we’ll always do our best to support you with care and understanding.

If entry isn’t possible once a session has begun, your booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show. This helps us protect the calm, grounded experience for everyone in the room, including our facilitators.

We really appreciate your understanding and care for the shared space.

Memberships

Memberships operate on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated.

Memberships:

  • are non-refundable

  • are non-transferable

  • renew automatically until cancelled

We ask for 30 days’ written notice for membership cancellations, as this process is managed by us.

Membership pauses may be available for illness, injury, pregnancy, caregiving responsibilities, or significant life circumstances. Please email us and we’ll do our best to support you.

Unused classes do not roll over unless explicitly stated in your membership agreement.

The Rest Collective reserves the right to update pricing, schedules, or membership structures with reasonable notice.

Schedule Changes & Facilitators

While consistency matters to us, sometimes schedules need to shift.

The Rest Collective reserves the right to:

  • change teachers or facilitators

  • amend schedules

  • cancel sessions where necessary

Bookings are made for the session experience itself rather than a specific teacher.

Health & Wellbeing

By attending any session, you confirm that you are physically and emotionally able to participate.

Please let your facilitator know before class if you:

  • are pregnant

  • have injuries

  • have medical conditions

  • are recovering from surgery

  • or have anything else we should be aware of to support your safety

You are always encouraged to move at your own pace, rest when needed, and take responsibility for your own wellbeing throughout your practice.

The Rest Collective reserves the right to refuse participation if we believe it may be unsafe for you or others.

Unless otherwise stated, sessions are intended for participants aged 18 and over.

Studio Etiquette

We want the studio to feel like a calm, respectful, welcoming place for everyone.

We kindly ask that you:

  • silence mobile phones during sessions and don’t bring them to your mat

  • avoid recording or photographing classes without permission

  • treat the space, props, facilitators, and fellow attendees with care

  • arrive into the space gently to allow everyone to settle before each session starts

Disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund.

The Rest Collective is committed to creating an inclusive, judgment-free environment where all people are treated with dignity and respect.

Personal Belongings

Please take care of your belongings while visiting the studio.

The Rest Collective cannot accept responsibility for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged on the premises.

Lost property will be kept for 14 days before being donated or disposed of.

Liability Waiver

By participating in any class, event, training, workshop, online offering, or session with The Rest Collective, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

The Rest Collective and its facilitators are not liable for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation, except where required by UK law.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking or service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted under law.

The Rest Collective is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • severe weather

  • illness

  • government restrictions

  • pandemics

  • technical failures

  • venue issues

  • strikes or emergencies
